Choosing a ceramic memorial urn for your pet

Personalized ceramic pet memorial urn with a clay figurine

Choosing a memorial urn can be a quiet, personal decision. Start with the details that matter to you: a familiar expression, a favorite pose, or the colors and markings you remember most clearly.

Confirm capacity before choosing a size

The dimensions on a product page describe the outside of the urn. They do not tell you its usable internal capacity. Do not estimate capacity from a photograph or assume that two urns of the same height hold the same amount. Before ordering, ask us to confirm the appropriate capacity for the ashes you intend to keep. If your cremation provider has supplied a volume measurement, include it in your message.

Choose the kind of portrait you want

Our ceramic collection includes hand-painted portrait urns and a design with a hand-sculpted clay figurine. A painted portrait focuses on the image on the ceramic surface. A figurine adds a three-dimensional likeness and benefits from photos showing different angles. Check each product's available sizes and colors rather than relying on another design's options.

Think about its place at home

Measure the shelf, table, or display area where the urn will sit. Consider the full height and width, including any figurine. Take your time choosing the photograph and any name or dates. Email service@pawandash.com if you would like help checking a detail before ordering.
